About

Artist Statement
My art tries to capture the gesture and the essence of the being I am creating. The sculptures are psychological and deal with universal feelings such as loneliness, fear, love, power and joy.
I try to create a raw and primitive feelings to evoke motion while viewing the sculpture. The art can be viewed at different levels of meaning and depends on the viewer's perspective.
I work in various mediums. These materials create different textures which allows for different feelings or mood. Whether it is working in wax to create a bronze or wrapping fabric around an armature each sculpture is unique. All sculptures are one of a kind.
